Vinyasa Yoga can be translated to “breath-synchronized movement”. This is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which combines physical postures, or asanas, with breathing.
Our Vinyasa classes will be more energetic and aerobic. It is a strong, yet gentle class. We start with an easy warm-up (promoting body and breath awareness) then move onto a dynamic flow of different postures and we end once again with a gentle cool down.
Attending our Vinyasa Yoga classes will leave you recharged and relaxed. This class focuses on building Strength, flexibility, and concentration.
Vinyasa yoga is perfect for beginners but very popular with experienced yogis as well – all-round a great idea for yogis of all experience levels.
“Balancing in yoga and life is a reflection of our inner state. Can we dance with the change? Can we fall and try again with playfulness? Do we have the focus, skill, and attunement to find the still point within it all?.” – Shiva Rea
This style of yoga and movement incorporates elements from all styles of yoga, so your flexibility will be tested by a wide variety of poses and movements.
“Breath-syncronised movement” might sound easy and relaxing, but this style of yoga can push your physical limits. When joining our classes, you’ll push the limits of your strength and balance.
Cardio is an important part of any fitness routine. While Vinyasa yoga has a relavtively slow pace, it will still get your heartrate going, improving cardiovascular performance along the way.
